Investiture Ceremony 2019-20

Mother’s Day Celebration

Pre-Primary (09-05-2019)

 

Mothers hold their children’s hand for a while, but their hearts forever.

 

The Pre Primary celebrated Mother’s Day on May 9th 2019 in honour of all the mothers who shower selfless devotion on their children without any expectation. The programme commenced with the welcome address to the gathering. Students exhibited their gratitude, love and regard for their mothers through a welcome song. The school Principal Mrs. Manju Duggal delivered an inspirational speech on the occasion and spoke about mother’s contribution in exhibiting her unconditional and sacrificial love and thus honouring their being in this world as a precious gift. The tiny tots presented an action song to express their love for their moms. To make the day special and unique, few competitions were also organized for mothers and their children. The little angels had a splendid time in participating in ‘Mom and me flameless cooking’ & ‘Rangoli competition’ with their moms. It was a pleasure watching the super excited moms with their dynamic and energetic children preparing something special for the day. Some of the mothers of tiny tots were invited on the stage for fun filled activities which also included singing and dancing sessions. The school activity head Mrs. Nancy Raina judged the competitions and awarded the winner mothers. She congratulated all the mothers for making it an auspicious day and concluded the programme with vote of thanks.

Orientation Programme

Pre Primary 27.03.19

 

School orientation programme is a fantastic opportunity for parents to know what to expect in coming year and also equip them for it. Keeping this in view, an orientation programme was conducted for the Pre Primary parents in the school premises on March 27th 2019.

On arrival, the parents and their children were given a floral welcome.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome note by the Pre Primary activity head Mrs. Sonia Dogra, who addressed the session with a goal to ensure a positive atmosphere for learning as well as building up the healthy relationship between the parents and the teachers. She introduced the Pre-Primary head Mrs. Anjali Kachroo and the school counselor Ms. Archana Chaudhary to the gathering. Followed by this, the school Principal Mrs. Manju Duggal enlightened the gathering by giving a brief description about the school which included the history and the motto. She also shared information about the school system, curriculum and co- curricular activities.

The parents were further directed to the respective classrooms for class orientation where the respective class teachers gave detailed information about the learning parameters and stressed upon the innovative teaching and learning methodologies followed in the school. After the interactive session, the teachers escorted the parents for a short tour of the school.

A photo corner was set up for the tiny tots to get their photo clicked on their first day to school. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by the Pre Primary activity head.

Scouts and Guide Camp 2018-2019

 

”Scouts & Guides club helps students inculcate leadership traits, develop team building thrill for adventure & compassion towards their fellow brethren”.

 

VBPS Dwarka organized a scout & guide camp for 3 days i.e. from 11th Mar 2019 to 13th Mar 2019 in the school premises. A team of 80 students attended the camp .The inaugural ceremony began at 9:00 am, the school Principal Mrs. Manju Duggal addressed the scouts & guides & stressed in her address that the scouts & guides should always be ready to help others & think to go beyond. With their blue sashes that goes from left to right on the uniform & the scarf that keeps their head high among all, the scouts & guides performed a synchronized march past .The scout masters apprised the students about initial level first aid to be given in emergency situations. The useful information pertaining to the first aid, types of bandages, stretchers & remedies for insect bites

were also apprised the students on how

to combate the disasters demonstrated

making tents using available & limited

resources like bedsheets, logs, sticks &

others. The third day witnessed the

thoroughly enjoyable campfire programme.

At last, the scouts &guides had an open

conversation with the masters & got their

doubts clarified with regards to their further

progression in the programme.

Annual House Assembly – 2018-19
The Annual House Meet – ‘Cultural Bonanza’ was organised on 08 Feb 2019 in the school premises. The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp ceremony by the Officiating Principal – Mrs Manju Duggal and the House Masters of all the houses. A melodious and soulful bhajan was sung by the students of Class VI, VII & VIII. This was followed by the presentation of the theme based assemblies by all the houses. The theme for the annual house assembly was – “The Elements of Nature”. All the four houses left no stone unturned in presenting the theme in different innovative ways. Through the elements of dance, music, street play, poetry and speeches, the assembly portrayed the spirit of India aptly. The four houses – VISHWA, SATYAM, SHIVAM and SUNDARAM sang their respective house songs which were lauded by all. It was a truly spectacular display of talents of all the participants from all the four houses. The House Captains of all the houses delivered their House reports glorifying the achievements. The Annual House assembly culminated with the result declaration – much to the excitement of everyone present there. There were four trophies in all. The Best House (Sports) was bagged by Vishwa House. The Best House (Literary) was bagged and shared by Sundaram & Satyam House. The best house (Cultural) was grabbed by Shivam House. The most coveted trophy of the “BEST HOUSE – OVERALL was clinched by SHIVAM House. The students and the House Incharge of the winning houses were highly elated. Their joy knew no leaps and bounds. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.

Farewell 2018-19

It was a nostalgic moment for the outgoing students of 12th Class when VBPS, Dwarka organised a grand farewell on 29th Jan 2019 to bid adieu to senior most batch along with the blessings and best wishes from the management members, Principal and teachers.

 

Class XII students reminisced their fun filled days where they have bloomed from buds to flowers and have been enabled to ornate the garden of life. The function commenced with the warm welcome of students of class XII. The celebrations commenced with the speech of Harsh Priye and  Aastha Sharma – Head Boy and Head Girl respectively who extended their heartfelt gratitude to the mentors for their guidance and support throughout their school life.

 

A colourful and entertaining cultural programme followed which enthralled the seniors. To add to everyone’s delight, a colourful dance extravaganza was presented by the students of class XI who performed on peppy numbers. While dances earned a thundering applause, it was the fashion show by class XI which stole the show with their perfectly coordinated ramp walk.

 

A school farewell party is the most memorable day of a student’s life . “Things end but memories last forever” -keeping this objective in mind, a healthy and fun filled competition was organised to select Mr.  & Ms. VBPS, Dwarka. The above spoken competition comprised various rounds that tested knowledge presence of mind, guts to face negative situation in life etc., after all school was selecting its representative for the world outside. Finally, Aastha Sharma of XII-B and Prateek Kumar of XII-A were selected as Ms. And Mr. VBPS, Dwarka respectively.

 

After the cultural programme, everyone assembled for the sumptuous lunch. The lunch was followed by class XII and XI students dancing their heart’s content to the foot tapping music played. Many were seen clicking pictures with friends and teachers trying to capture the school memories forever.

 

Thus an enchanting evening culminated and with it both happiness and nostalgia crept into each one in the campus.

Republic Day Celebration – 26th January 2019

 

The 70th Republic Day was celebrated at VBPS, Dwarka with a great deal of patriotic zeal. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the tricolour by Shri. Sudhir Shah, Hon’ble Management member . The cultural programme began with a musical rendition by class VIII students with the theme of saluting our motherland. A dance performance presented by the students of classes VII & VIII showcased the ethos and spirit of the Indian soldier. It portrayed the enthusiasm of the Indian solider who is always ready to lay his life in heat and cold, in pleasure and pain, for the dignity of our nation. Aditya Kumar, Head boy, delivered a speech which was a solemn reminder of the great martyrs and their contribution to the country which infused feeling of dedication and loyalty in the young hearts.

 

A group of students also showcased the diverse culture of India by performing dances from the States of Goa, Punjab, Kerala, Gujarat etc and mesmerised the students. The school reverberated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. Sweets were distributed among the students.

Dussehra Celebration (16-10-18)

Pre Primary

                                                                   

To mark the victory of Lord Rama over evil king, Ravana and reinforce the message of the triumph of good over evil, the Pre Primary wing celebrated Dussehra with lot of religious zeal on October 16th 2018. A student spoke about the significance of the festival. Few episodes of the story of Ramayana were dramatized through a musical presentation by the tiny tots. The little children came dressed up as different characters of Ramlila and enthralled the entire audience through their performance.  The officiating Principal Mrs. Manju Duggal appreciated everyone for presenting a wonderful programme and briefly explained the values of honesty, respect and obedience which are the core of the epic, Ramayana.

Janmashtami celebration

Pre Primary 31-08-2018

 

Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal by the students of Pre – Primary on August 31st 2018. The tiny tots gave a traditional touch to the entire celebration as they came dressed in beautiful and vibrant attire of Lord Krishna and Radha. The Children carried out a procession in the school. The officiating Principal Mrs. Manju Duggal also blessed the students as they danced to the tunes of devotional songs which filled the air with joy and festive spirit.

On 15th August 2018, VBPS, Dwarka celebrated 76th Independence Day with zeal and spirit befitting the occasion. The Chief Guests for day was Dr. Rita Mishra – Cultural Convenor, Zone 21. Lt. Col. Nidhi Kalra, Lt. Col. Sunita Singh and Dr. R.K. Shivpuri - one of our Hon’ble Management members, also graced the occasion with his benign presence. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the Indian tricolour in the school field by the Chief Guest. All in unison sang the National Anthem to pay homage to the nation. Thereafter the cultural programme began with the lighting of the lamp. The school choir enthralled the audience with the patriotic songs they sang. Aditya Sharma, the Head Boy delivered a speech on the significance of the red letter day. Various patriotic dances presented by the students awakened everyone’s feelings towards Motherland. The participants spellbound the audience with their performance and also enjoyed them with patriotic enthusiasm. Past the cultural programme, sweets were distributed to the students.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

 

The ‘Investiture Ceremony’ of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka for the academic session 2018-19 was held on 9th May, 2018 in the school premises.

The event started with the welcome of Chief Guest, Ms. Roshni Gulati, SPE Excellence Branch HQ along with our honorable Secretary, Mr. Sudhir Shah and our officiating Principal, Ms. Manju Duggal.

The ceremony started with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief guest and dignitaries. It was followed by a welcome address by the officiating principal Mrs. Manju Duggal who wished the members of the Apex Body and reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all values that the school stands for.

 Further more, Raag Desh and Bhajan were presented by the students of different classes.

 The limelight of the programme was the march past displayed by the newly appointed cabinet members. The senior apex body (2018-19) is headed by Aditya Kumar of XI and Ananya Pandita of XI A. The junior apex body is headed by Jayesh Kansal and Zinnia Chakravorty of class V respectively.

Master Aditya Kumar, the head boy administered the oath.

The Chief Guest, Mrs. Roshni Gulati, officiating Principal, Mrs. Manju Duggal, Activity Coordinator Nancy Raina and the House Masters awarded sashes and badges to the newly elected prefects.

The Chief Guest in her address gave a motivational speech commenting on the privilege of the cabinet members and their first exposure to leadership.

Mr. Sudhir Shah, Secretary, Vishwa Bharati Public School addressed the gathering. He congratulated the newly appointed school cabinet members and advised them to take up their duties sincerely and with full commitment. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prachi Rawat. The ceremony culminated with the National Anthem.

Orientation Day 2018-19 Pre-Primary

Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka organized an orientation programme in the school premises for pre-primary classes on March 28th, 2018 with the motive to apprise the parents about the ethics and ideals of the school. The parents and their children were given a warm floral welcome.

 The Pre Primary activity head, Mrs. Sonia Dogra addressed the session by giving a short description about the school’s history and its vision of being progressive and child- centric. It was followed by the enthralling speech by the officiating Principal, Mrs. Manju Duggal in which she laid stress on the holistic development of the child as the main aim and objective of the school. In her speech, she unfolded the school curriculum, rules and regulations, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities.

  The Pre Primary teachers also showcased a lesson plan on teaching the English alphabets. Class orientation was conducted in the classrooms by the respective class teachers. Guidelines for classroom practices were explained to the parents for a positive start. To make each child feel special and make it a memorable event, a photo corner was set up and photographs of the tiny tots were taken on their first day to the school.

Basant Panchami was celebrated in VBPS, Dwarka on 21st January 2018. The Officiating Principal Mrs Manju Duggal lighted the lamp and paid offering to Maata Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge which created a divine atmosphere. Prasad was distributed to everyone after the Pooja

ANNUAL SPORTS MEET (2017-18)

The Annual Sports Day of VBPS, Dwarka was celebrated on 20th January 2018 amidst great mirth, jubilation and camaraderie in the school premises. The objective behind holding the event was to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and fondness for sports in children. The day was fun-filled fest of laughter, energy, delight and competitive spirit as around 1200 students presented and participated in various activities. Shri Satpal Singh (Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri, Arjun and Dronacharya Awardee, Gold Medallist- Asian Games, Silver Medallist- CWG) was the Chief Guest. Mr. Narender Singh (Asian & Olympics Games Gold Medallist), Mr. Ajay Kumar (Gold Medallist, Handball-CWG) and Ms Dalima Chibber (National Football Team) were the guests of Honour. The other dignitaries present on the occasion were- Shri RK Hak (Member of Management); Shri Sudhir Shah (Secretary, VBPS, Dwarka); Shri Virender Saighal (RAC Member) Shri JN Kaul (Vice-President) and  Shri RL Tickoo (Member of Management).

 

The event began and the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour were welcomed with saplings. A spectacular, impressive and a well synchronised March Past by the four Houses contingents – Vishwa, Satyma, Shivam and Sundaram, rendered the spectators speechless and awestruck. Behind them trailed ‘The Musical High Landers Band’ from ‘7 Garhwal Rifles’ – 175 year old battalion. The band beautifully played ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’ and a famous Garhwali song. Both the March-past and band were performed smartly and in perfect coordination. The Officiating Principal, Mrs Manju Duggal welcomed the guests and gathering formally and read a brief report of school’s achievements in the year 2017-18.

 

It was followed by lighting of the torch which ignited the passion of sporting spirit. The meet was declared open by the Chief Guest with the release of pigeon and balloons. The well synchronized school Orchestra laid the ground for other lovely performances. The most intriguing aspect, embellishing the event was the field displays, involving mass student participations, which splattered on the field, a riot of hues and vibrance. The display included, Dramatization Sports, Taekwondo bouts, Aerobics moves and Fusion dances.

 

The Chief Guest, Shri Satpal Singh in his address was superlative in his praise for the various programmes performed by the students. He shared interesting anecdotes from his own life and opined that Sports and Games are very important part of education as it makes students disciplined. He urged students to participate in various sports with sincerity.

This was followed by the track events including some fun races like bursting the balloon race, vegetable race for the pre-primary wing. The events for the primary wing were Hurdle race, 50 mts Dash, Lemon & Spoon race and sack race. The boys and girls of the middle and senior wing participated in hurdle race, 50 mts dash, long jump, 4 x 100 m relay race, shot put and 100 mts sprint race. There was pulsating excitement among the students and the campus echoed with loud cheers. The proud winners were awarded with medals and certificates by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. The winners were overjoyed and the ones who could not bag the prizes were seen congratulating the winners. The Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs Nancy Raina, Activity Coordinator. The event saw its culmination with the National Anthem.

Christmas Celebrations (2018-19)

 

Clap your hands, stomp your feet and sing your hearts out.

The month of December brings abundant warmth and hope. It is, after all, a time of celebration, with Christmas to colour the cold and grey winter. The cheer of Christmas was celebrated with vigour and zeal by the students and staff of VBPS, Dwarka on 22nd Dec 2017. The programme commenced with a dramatization on the ‘Story of Nativity’ presented by the students of classes III to VIII. This was an amalgamation of carols and dances accompanied by keyboard. The perfectly synchronized goan dance, ghost dance, ballad left the audience applaud continuously asking for more.

 

The highlight of the day was the Inter House carol singing competition. The competition engaged students in singing carols that set the mood and built anticipation among all. Students of all the four houses sang a variety of carols enthusiastically and melodiously spreading the message of faith, happiness and peace. Vishwa House and Satyam House bagged the first position. The second position was shared by Shivam House and Sundaram House. Mrs Manju Duggal, the Officiating Principal, expressed her delight on seeing such enthusiasm in the children who brought the spirit of Christmas to life. She said happiness lies in celebrating together as a family and finally wished everyone a Merry Christmas.

 

The programme culminated with the National Anthem.

S.N Ganju Memorial Inter- School

English Debate and Excellence Award.

 

 

 

S.N Ganju Memorial Inter-School English Debate and Excellence Award ceremony was held on 3rd November, 2017 in VBPS, Dwarka.

1. The ceremony was graced by the benign presence of esteemed members of management Sh. R.K Haaq (Chief Guest), Sh. Sudhir Shah (Secretary, VBPS, Dwarka) and Smt. Krishna Labroo (member of management).

It was also attended by a panel of judges Mr. Sumit Bhardwaj (certified communications and skill trainer), Mrs. Anjali Singh (Educator- cum-motivational trainer). Proud parents of Sudeep George, team from various schools.

2. The programme commenced with the formal welcome followed by the lighting of traditional lamp by the dignitaries.

3. School Principal Mrs. Manju Duggal welcomed the guests.

4. The prestigious and much coveted award was awarded to Sudeep George, who excelled because of his excellent performance in Scholastic as well as Co-Scholastic areas.

5. The interesting debate on the topic – ‘Human efforts are far much better than destiny’ was held.

6. Eighteen teams from Dwarka and NCR participated enthusiastically.

7. The results in different categories were as follows –

Best Speaker for the motion – Snigdha Malhotra, Venkateshwara International School

Best Speaker against the motion – Tanvi Purohit, N.K Bagrodia

Best Interjector – Ayush Mehan, N.K Bagrodia

The Rolling trophy was bagged by – N.K Bagrodia School

Grand Parents Day

 

Grandparents are the backbone of a family, the root of our lives; their importance is inevitable in our lives.

Moving ahead with a goal of nurturing our children as happy, respectful  and responsible citizens, the Pre-Primary wing of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka celebrated ‘Grandparent’s day’ on October 10, 2017. The event began with the felicitation of grandparents by the school appointees followed by a welcome speech. After the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, the tiny tots presented a welcome song followed by a short skit which displayed the histrionics  of our young angels who played their parts so convincingly that audience went teary eyed. The students also dramatized the life history of lord Rama. An astounding ‘Bhajan’ was performed by the little ones to express their devotion for the almighty leaving everyone enchanted. A splendid dance performance by the little angels compelled the grandparents to join the children on the stage. It was a heartfelt moment for the grandparents to witness the synchronization of talent and tradition of their grandchildren. The vote of thanks was given by the Pre-Primary coordinator. The gathering concluded with National Anthem followed with light refreshments. Everyone looked truly happy after the successful event. VBPS, Dwarka looks forward to many more such celebrations.

 TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION

(5th SEPTEMBER, 2O17)

Teachers’ day celebration was held on the 5thSeptember at Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka in the school premises. The enthusiasm of the students was apparent as they were all geared up to show respect, love and gratitude towards their teachers who have been their guiding soul for years.

Students of class XII were very enthusiastic as there was a role reversal for them for the day and were anxiously waiting for their favorite teacher to take on their role for the day.

The celebration commenced with a small prayer by the students of class XII, followed by the officiating Principal’s address. There were two dance performancesby the students of class XI and class X respectively and a vocal performance by students of classes XI and XII. This was followed by the felicitation of the teachers. A streak of enthusiasm was seen in both student as well as teacher community for this particular event.

The celebration culminated with the felicitation of teachers after which the students dispersed to their respective classes.

The celebration in the school was followed by another BONANZA awaiting for the teachers- MOVIE TIME and an outing to the PACIFIC MALL, SUBHASH NAGAR to watch the movie “Bareilly ki barfi “A loving n respectful gesture showed by the Management.

All in all the day was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

  

DIWALI CELEBRATION

All the students of classes 1st to 12th celebrated the festival of lights with joy and enthusiasm during 7th & 8th period on 18th October 2017. Classes I to XII decorated the corridors and classrooms with lanterns,  torans, candles, diyas and other decorative material. The children also made rangolis with colours and flowers petals. Class parties were also held. The students shared the special lunch they had brought with their friends.

Diya Decoration Competition

To bring out the creative skills of the tiny tots, a Diya decoration competition was held for class LKG on October 17, 2017. The students displayed their creativity by decorating the earthen lamps beautifully as per their whims and fancies. They used colours and other decorative materials like rhinestones, stickers, sparkle glue etc. The completion was a platform for these blooming buds to showcase their enthusiasm  and zeal along with gave the message of celebrating Diwali in its true sense – celebrating it with love, peace, prosperity, compassion and happiness.

Anti Cracker Rally

An anti-cracker rally was organised by the Pre-Primary wing of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Dwarka. Students took pledge not to indulge in bursting crackers. They all pledged to celebrate a green Diwali. The students were carrying banners and placards and slogans denouncing the use of crackers. The rally covered the surroundings of the school. The officiating Principal Ms Manju Duggal and our Pre-Primary Head Ms Anjali Kachroo motivated students to celebrate “Pollution Free Diwali”

The students of the Pre-Primary classes took it upon their shoulders to educate the people about the ill-effects of burning crackers and to celebrate Diwali with candles, diyas and non-polluting green crackers available in the market.

Tree Plantation Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm by students of Pre Primary wing on 11-08-17. The tiny tots raised slogans and displayed posters regarding different environmental issues. The respected officiating principal Mrs. Manju Duggal interacted with students and motivated them to plant more and more trees in order to make the surroundings green. The children also participated in the plantation drive by implanting the saplings in the school premises and pledged to save the environment.

“Freedom is never dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living?”

To celebrate the same zeal of freedom and salute the struggle and efforts of the great fighter who made it possible to live in FREE INDIA. 71st Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at VBPS, Dwarka. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation the chief guest unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sag the National Anthem. March past was presented by all the houses, students and the house masters elegantly marched raising their flags. The cultural programme started in the central lawn with speech by our head girl and head boy sharing the views on the significance of the day. The programme continued with the inspiring and motivational speech by our officiating Principal Mrs. Manju Duggal. The programme took a pace with cultural programme presented by the students. The student of choir group sang the patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our motherland. Everyone was mesmerized with the performance of the tiny tots. Students of classes I and II dressed like puppets gave a jaw dropping performance. The participants gave a scintillating performance with great patriotic fervor, zeal and zest. Our chief guest Mr. Sudhir Shah showered his blessings and guided the students to carry forward the legacy of nation as they are the torch bearer of tomorrow. Our activity incharge Ms. Nancy Raina gave a vote of thanks and admired the efforts of the teachers & students for such an impeccable performance. The programme was culminated with National Anthem.

Orientation  Day  Programme

 To familiarize the parents and the child with the school environment, an orientation programme was conducted by the pre-primary wing on April 1st 2017.The programme was started by the lighting of lamp ceremony followed by cultural programme. The tiny tots dramatized a rhyme. The pre primary teachers presented puppet show and lesson plan of English alphabets to explain the teaching methodology of the pre-primary level. The parents were further directed to the respective classrooms for class orientation where teachers gave valuable information about the activities supporting the child in her first year of school which included information about the curriculum and school routines.

“Faith in words and in our souls let’s salute the nation”

 

To commemorate the integrity and sovereignty of the nation, Vishwa Bharati Public School Dwarka organized Independence Day and Janamashtami on 11-08-17. The ceremony started at 9:00 am in  Pre – Primary premises with the gathering of students, teachers and staff. They heartily welcome our Principal Ma’am Ms. Manju Duggal and Razdan sir (administrative officer). They both addressed the gathering by telling the importance of celebration and festivals in our lives.  Children performed on songs “Suno gaur se duniya walo” and “Maiyya Yashoda”. Children were dressed up as Radha, Krishana and Gopiyan. The involvement of the children in all the celebration at such a tender age was worth applauding.

The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by respected Principal Ma’am. Indeed, it was a day of joy to love and respect our surroundings and our country.

Rakhi Celebration

 Pre Primary – 04-08-17

  

       To inculcate the bond of love between brother and sister, Rakshabandhan was celebrated in the Pre Primary wing on 04-08-17. On this auspicious occasion girls tied rakhies on the wrist of boys and children exchanged sweets. It was indeed a beautiful showcase of emotions by children. All the Pre Primary children participated enthusiastically in the celebration.

 The pre- primary wing of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Sector 6, Dwarka celebrated ‘Mother’s Day’ on 05.05 2017. Mothers were invited for the musical morning on this occasion. The tiny tots showed their love through song and dance performance dedicated to the mothers. The programme started by the Activity Incharge Mrs. Sonia Dogra. She gave an impressive speech on the motherhood. The officiating Principal Mrs. Manju Duggal emphasized and appreciated the role of a mother, who gives selfless care and happiness to the child. Mothers also participated in fun-filled activities like “Rapid Fire Round” and “Ramp Walk”. The proud mothers were overwhelmed by the sweet gestures of the kids. The programme concluded with the Vote of thanks by the Pre-primary coordinator Anjali Kachroo..

Vishwa Bharati Public School, Sec-6  Dwarka celebrated 26, November’ 2016  as Constitution Day. Children from classes VI to X participated in Essay writing competition . Mass reading of Preamble was conducted in respective classrooms  as a part of the celebration of the Constitution day.

 

Investiture Ceremony

 ‘Anyone can steer a ship but it takes a leader

to chart the course’VBPS, Dwarka conducted the

Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council for

the academic session 2016-17 on August 3, 2016 with

great enthusiasm. 

The Ceremony was a solemn occasion where the young students were prepared to don the mantle of leadership, to espouse confidence and a sense of responsibility among them. Shri A.K. Bhat, the President of Vishwa Bharati Women’s Welfare Institution ans Secretary ,VBPS Dwarka  was the esteemed Chief Guest of the occasion. Master Shivam Shukla and Miss Parul Vohra were  appointed as the Head Boy and  Head Girl of the senior wing respectively. It was for the first time in the history of VBPS Dwarka that the student council was also selected from the junior wing . Aditya Ratna Jha  and Shreya Bhat were appointed as the Head Boy and Head Girl of the junior wing respectively.

The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp which signifies removal of darkness and continuous path of wisdom and divinity.  A beautiful Ganesh Vandana was presented by the girls of classes IX and X to pay obeisance to the Almighty and seek the blessings. The Raag Bhairav (Peace Song) was rendered by the school choir. This was followed by an enthusiastic and energetic contemporary dance performance with the strong underlying message ‘Say No To Tobacco’.

The newly appointed council members were adorned with sashes and badges from the Chief Guest Shri AK Bhat, the School Principal Dr B.K. Mishra and the Vice Principal Mrs Sadhvi Verma.

The excitement of the new members was palpable as they marched in with their heads held high,  ready to shoulder the responsibilities as student leaders. The  office bearers of the 4 houses were also invested ceremoniously by their House Masters who presented them the sashes and badges.

Our newly elected student council pledged to be true to their posts and duties assigned to them.  

The school Principal Dr B.K. Mishra congratulated the newly appointed office bearers and reminded them to diligently shoulder responsibilities that lay ahead with dedication and devotion. Vote of thanks was conveyed by the Vice Principal Mrs. Sadhvi Verma.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.

By paying tribute in memory of the gallant soldiers who gave up their lives to capture KARGIL INDIAN TERRITORY occupied illegally in Kashmir. Students of class VI, VII, VIII of Satyam House conducted their morning assembly on the theme of KARGIL VICTORY DAY beautifully by presenting a speech, patriotic song and a dance sequence to honour the JAWANS who sacrificed their life for the nation.
